Employment Guidelines

The following statements are intended to cover primary guidelines of employment for residence staff. Please read and check each box next to each statement to indicate your understanding:

Staff members are expected to attend all training sessions (Thursdays 3-5 pm) and other meetings requested by the Housing and Residence Life staff.

Staff members are expected to remain registered as full time students at UTC in good academic standing (2.3 overall and semester GPA).

Staff members are not permitted to take on any off campus employment. All exceptions must be previously approved by the Assistant Director of Residence Life or his/her designee.

I authorize Housing and Residence Life to view my academic and conduct records to verify my GPA and discipline history.

I have read the responsibilities of the Resident Assistant position and meet the necessary qualifications as outlined in the job description.

All applicants MUST print and complete the criminal record and fingerprinting release form.

Please bring this with you when you sign-up for an interview time. You WILL NOT be eligible to sign-up for an interview unless you have turned in the release form.
