Housing and Residence Life

Spring Move-in:

Day/Time - Freshman and Upperclassmen may move in between 8am and 5pm on Friday, January 6th.

Check-In Location - Check-in will take place at the complex where you are assigned (residents of Guerry and Decosimo will check-in at Stacy Town Center and residents of Walker and UC Foundation will check-in at the courtyard between the two buildings).

Parking - Residents and family assisting with move-in will be allowed to park in any legal parking space (no parking in fire lanes or Handicap spaces). The Housing and Residence Life staff request that vehicles parked closest to the complexes be designated for unloading and resident check-in.  Please move your vehicle within 20 minutes to allow other guests the same courtesy. 

Items to Bring - You may wish to bring your own cart to aid in the moving of personal items.

Elevators - Walker, Stophel, UC Foundation Apartments all have elevators that will help in moving items to the upper floors.  Johnson Obear has elevator access in approximately 1/2 of the complex (mostly in the upperclassmen section).  We are sorry that Decosimo, Guerry, Boling and Lockmiller Apartments do not have elevators.

MOCS ID Card - If you haven't already had your ID card made, please have it made as early as possible after unloading.  Your ID card will be required to gain access into your apartment building if you live on South Campus and it will be required for laundry room access for North Campus residents.  All residents will need their ID card in order to access your meal plan.
