Room Selection for Returning Students

Three easy steps to selecting your room:
1. Beginning January 4, 2012, complete a returning student housing application for fall 2012- spring 2013.
2. Pay the $225 reservation fee (The $25 application is a one-time fee that you should have already paid if you are currently living on campus.)  The $225 reservation fee must be paid before you are eligible to select a room.
3. Select a room online on the date that applies to you:

In an effort to ensure that residents have a solid and stable foundation to build their academic careers upon, we have implemented the following room selection process for the 2012-2013 Academic Year.  Please be aware, that it is imperative that you review the following enrollment dates, and determine how they apply to you. In 2012-2013, room renewals do not carry over from the previous year. All rooms will be eligible for selection on a first come, first "select" basis. Returning students are not eligible to select a room in the following complexes: Guerry, Decosimo, Walker, Lockmiller, and Stagmaier.

If you have completed the application process and all fees have been paid then the following selection dates apply:

Rising Sophomores:
• February 1 & 2 – Same Complex (select on this day if you would like to live in the same complex)
• February 3 & 4 – Different Complex Selection or a resident of Guerry/Decosimo/LM/Walker(select on this day if you would like to live in a different complex or are required to change building)

Upperclassmen:          
• February 6 & 7 – Upperclassmen -Same Complex(select on this day if you would like to live in the same complex)
• February 8 & 9 – Upperclassman -Different Complex(select on this day if you would like to live in a different complex)
• February 10     – Upperclassmen -Open Selection (students may go online and select a room on this day should they have missed their previous room selection deadline-either because of personal time restraints or failure to pay their reservation fee on time, and are still in need of campus housing).

Please note that the room selection process will open and close based on the following times: 11am- 11pm on the above listed dates.

Rising Sophomores are defined as: Students enrolled at UTC for the first-time in the Fall 2011 or Spring 2012 and have a current room assignment through housing.

*The $225 reservation fee is refundable up until June 1, 2012.
