Application Process: Incoming freshman for Fall 2012-Spring 2013 may begin submitting applications for housing on October 1, 2011. Please keep in mind that you must be admitted to the university before you can apply for housing.

Three easy steps to selecting your room:

1) Submit a fall 2012- 2013 freshman housing application

2) Pay the $25 application fee and $225 reservation fee. (These are two separate payments that can be completed online.)

3) Select your room online based on the following criteria:

Tiered Room Selection Based on Application Date:

· April 2nd/3rd: Room selection beginning at 11am on the 2nd and ending at 11pm on the 3rd. (Students who apply in Oct/Nov/Dec will be in the first freshman group to select their room. Application must be complete with payments processed by 12/15).

· April 9th/10th: Room selection beginning at 11am on the 9th and ending at 11pm on the 10th. (Students who apply in Jan/Feb/Mar/ will be in the second freshman group to select their room. Application must be complete with payments processed by March 31).

· April 16th: Room selection beginning at 11am on the 16th and will remain open until all students are assigned or no rooms are available. Open Freshman Selection for all applicants who apply after March 31st. Application must be complete with payments processed.)

**If there are no available rooms to choose, students will need to contact our office at (423) 425-4304 in order to be placed on a waiting list.

**$225 reservation fee is refundable up until June 1, 2012
